Package Printing

Packages are printed in full and half units. Prints are cut and inserted into individual window envelopes for distribution. In addition to the units shown above, other combinations are available. Contact your sales representative or consult your production order for a complete list of units available.

Service Prints

Because our service prints are printed from digital files, we offer a variety of sizes and options to our film and digital customers. If we don't currently have a service item that you have been offering to your customers, our art department can create a custom service product based on your needs. We can mix black & white and color, subject id information, photo with no name and more on one service item.

Service items are produced at the same time as the packages and generally do not add more than one day to the service time.

Index Prints

Index Prints Index prints are available from scans or files sent in on CD. The multi-up prints are available in a variety of sizes. It can range from an 8 up sheet of unique wallets, 8-up sheet of unique mini wallets, to a 48 up unique on a 5x10 sheet. These are sometimes ordered as a record of the entire shoot, because they have a thumbnail of each image in the job with the frame number listed at the bottom of each image. They can valuable if the school and the photographer each have a set to aid in communications with each other or with the lab.

Yearbook/Administrative CD Rom

Most schools and yearbook publishers request or require the photographer to provide a yearbook CD rom instead of traditional printed service prints. Alford Imaging has all the expertise to match your images to data, and to produce the YBCD (yearbook CD) that matches the yearbook publisher criteria for resolution, crop, and format. We can provide you with a CD that is approved to work with Jostens, Herf Jones, Taylor, Walsworth, Walter's Publishing, School Annual and others.

Preprinted camera cards can be printed at Alford Imaging. By using a camera card for every exposure and keeping the cards in shot order, Alford Imaging can prepare a database file which will match the order of photography.

If this service is new to you, please call before shooting your school to ensure the correct procedures are followed. When sending in your film and camera cards, please let us know if you want a YBCD or an Administrative CD and the name of the publisher or software the school is using.

Calendar

This service print is 3 1/2" x 5" and features the school name and the calendar year. You can purchase the print only or the print mounted on a magnet.

Personalized Wallets

Increase your sales by offering exciting Personalized wallets with your school packages, or offer this with your top package to drive sales to a higher average. The current school year and student name are printed on the photo. Eight wallets to an 8x10 unit.

An artistic rendering made from all images photographed at a school. Every printable exposure is included in the photo. You may submit your own background.
